This is not about religion. It's a relationship. God wants you to know Him. He wants to free you from your sin. He wants you to come to Him with confidence not based on your performance but on His. Church goer or thief, He wants to wash you clean. Murderer, loan shark, or soccer mom, you will find rest for your soul. Are you poor, or are you rich; a learned scholar, or are you sick? Come to Him, He loves you. Actor, athlete, alcoholic, or drug user, He is calling you. Farmer, teacher, prostitute, or unemployed: He died a criminal's death for you. He is gentle and humble and He calls you. He doesn't reject anyone who comes to Him.

Jesus died for the whole world - This is our confidence. God's love is so complete that He wants all to be saved. Jesus said that when He was crucified, He would call all men to Himself. He gives everyone who believes in Him the right to become children of God.

Jesus rose from the dead. He lives now for all of us. He is calling the sick of heart and the sinner. True life with God is only through Jesus. Jesus has mercy for the sinner, not the "righteous"who think they need no mercy. We are sinful and we need a Savior.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. " (Matthew 11:28-29)
